Variant Cover C – Drew Hayes.  You meet a lot of people in comics but none like Drew Hayes.  When I first got into comics, I met him early on, and we instantly became close friends.  We would talk for hours on the phone about different ideas and creations.  He was honest with his feelings and truly an open individual.   I was a big fan of his book that he not only illustrated but wrote – Poison Elves.  Drew not only did GASP #0 with me, but he also gave me a cover for my Paradox prequel issue.  I never got to use it until now.  Drew died March 21st, 2007.  I always considered him a good friend and rooted for his success.  The comic world could really use more people like Drew Hayes.
