Paradox: Reckonings is a six issue story arc that is a dark fantasy story that was created out of Rick's love for reading and storytelling.
In the beginning, when HE created the heavens and the earth, a race of Incessants was created on the first minute of the first day with the sole purpose to give guidance to mankind. Each Incessant has a duality, with both sides influencing their namesake. Where there is Mayhem, there must be Order. With War comes Peace. Each Incessant fights to influence mankind to tip the balance of power between good and evil. Mix in some Sumerian lore, and a little horror and you have the origins of Paradox. Paradox's storyline delves into the origin of the first Vampire Clan and the true birth of man while setting up the prophetic battle of Armageddon with the Four Horsemen!
