This is more than a reward package. It is a genuine piece of Oz history.

We have secured the final 50 original yellow bricks from the historic Land of Oz on Beech Mountain, North Carolina, and we are making them available in an extremely limited Oz: Gear City collector package. The Land of Oz opened in 1970 as an immersive journey that allowed visitors to experience Dorothy's adventure by literally following the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City. The historic road was constructed from tens of thousands of specially glazed yellow bricks.

And the history surrounding that road is incredible. On June 15, 1970, Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds helped open the Land of Oz with her 13-year-old daughter Carrie Fisheryears before Carrie would become known around the world as Princess Leia. The park's history also connects directly to the original Wizard of Oz: Ray Bolger, the Scarecrow from the 1939 film, broke ground for the Judy Garland Memorial Overlook during the park's development. 

THE ULTIMATE OZ: GEAR CITY COLLECTOR PACKAGE

Only 50 of these packages will ever be offered, and each contains a remarkable collection of individually numbered pieces:

• One original yellow brick from the historic Land of Oz, signed and individually numbered by Oz artist Les L. Garner.

• Certificate of Authenticity, telling the history and provenance of the brick and signed by writer and purchaser of the bricks Rick Molchan.

• Limited Oz: Gear City Double Cover Edition, signed and numbered. The book begins with a black-and-white cover, but when you open it, the image transforms into a full-color cover—our tribute to Dorothy's legendary transition from the black-and-white world of Kansas into the color of Oz.

• Limited-edition art print paying homage to Carrie Fisher/Princess Leia, also signed and numbered.

The Land of Oz wasn't simply another amusement park. It was designed around the idea of walking Dorothy's journey yourself—through the Gale farmhouse and tornado experience, onto the Yellow Brick Road, and ultimately toward the Emerald City. More than half a century later, that Yellow Brick Road remains one of the park's defining pieces of history. 

That makes this reward particularly special to us. Oz: Gear City takes the mythology of Oz somewhere darker, stranger and more dangerous but its roots remain firmly planted in the world that began with Dorothy taking that first step onto the Yellow Brick Road.
